Fibber McGee's Welcomes a New Beer Garden, Just in Time for the World Cup

What a way to kick off summer. Fibber McGee’s Irish Bar on Main Street, Coatbridge has officially opened its brand-new beer garden, and we are delighted to have delivered the project for the team behind one of North Lanarkshire’s most exciting hospitality venues.

Last December, we completed the full commercial joinery fit-out for Fibber McGee’s, transforming the former Wetherspoon site into an authentic Irish pub with traditional green tiled panelling, a hardwood bar top, and bespoke joinery throughout. At the time, the redevelopment of the pub was covered by the Glasgow Times. So when our client came back to us about extending the venue outdoors, our fit-out team jumped at the chance.

The new garden gives Fibber McGee’s a stunning open-air extension, with festoon lighting strung overhead, multi-zone seating across the space, and a striking feature wall built from timber.

The opening could not have been better timed. With Scotland’s World Cup campaign underway and Fibber McGee’s selling £5 match day packages for the Scotland group stage games, the new beer garden is set to be the place to soak up every minute of the action this summer.

Cheers to the team at Fibber McGee’s. Come on Scotland!
